Teach others to safely use the bike and components, proper form and riding techniques and the benefits of cycling. Learn creative formats to make your class a fun-filled fitness experience.
Course Objectives: Assist class participants to properly set up the bicycle, ride in proper body alignmnet and make equipment adjustments.Demonstrate and teach safety precautions on the bicycle.Design and write a class program including a warm-up, the ride and a cool down.Conduct a thirty-minute ride including all of the basic positions and riding techniques.Discuss physical, psychological and performance benefits of cycling.Discuss and incorporate cycling terminology.Discuss teaching techniques specific to indoor cycling programming. |
