Aquatic Exercise for Rehabilitation and Training
Design therapeutic aquatic rehab and exercise programs for individuals of all ages with disease-specific conditions.

This advanced course reviews current literature regarding the benefits of aquatic exercise using a variety of therapeutic interventions, including the Halliwick Concept, the Bad Ragaz Ring Method, Ai Chi, Watsu, swim stroke training, aquatic cardiovascular training, neuromuscular training and core, upper-quarter and lower-quarter musculoskeletal training. Learn how to apply aquatic activities to progress individual clients and how to adapt these activities to individuals of all ages with various disease-specific conditions. Case studies are presented and discussed throughout the course.

This is an advanced course designed for physical therapists, physical therapy aides, therapeutic aquatic specialists and fitness and wellness professionals with previous aquatic training and experience.
