Tom Seabourne was a scholarship athlete and earned a BS in exercise science from Penn State University, and a Masters and PhD from the University of North Texas where he received the Alumni of the Year award.
Tom is a dynamic international presenter for ECA, Sara City Workout, IDEA Personal Trainer Summit, IHRSA, Can-Fit-Pro, AFPA, DCAC, AAAI, NEFC, FACT, and IDEA WORLD.
He has authored or been featured in over 200 articles in magazines including: Bicycling, Men’s Fitness, Maxim, Physician & Sports Medicine, Diabetes Self-Management, Fitness Magazine, Self, Men’s Health, and he has 10 published books covering self-defense, cross-training, martial arts, indoor cycling, injury prevention and rehabilitation, and mind/body fitness.
Tom is a two-time All-American Taekwondo martial artist, twice Pan American Champion, and two-time member of the United States Taekwondo Team.
In cycling Tom walks his talk. He won the Race Across America (RAAM) Open West in 1989, was in the top ten winners circle for the 1990 RAAM, and is the holder of two Texas state cycling records just to name a new of his accomplishments.
Currently Tom has worked 5 years with the Keiser Institute Indoor Cycling Program. He teaches at Northeast Texas Community College, an accredited four year institution partnered with Texas A&M University. In his spare time and for fun he and his wife of 20 years raise their 5 children!
