Greg Wenneborg, MA Back  



Greg is the head Cross Country and Track and Field coach for Pima Community College in Tucson, Arizona, where he was named Conference Coach of the Year in 2008. He also teaches at Flowing Wells High School in Tucson, Arizona, has coached at both the high school and junior high school level, and has been a coach for the Arizona chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Team in Training program. Greg was the long-time director for Craftsbury Running Camps (www.craftsbury.com) and is an active board member of the Southern Arizona Roadrunners. With a marathon personal best of 2:18:46, Greg qualified for and competed in the 1996, 2000, and 2004 U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials, placing 20th in the 2000 Olympic Trials. One of the best runners in the southwest, he won the 2000 and 2001 Maui Marathons, the 2001 Valley of the Sun Marathon, and the 1993 Mule Mountain Marathon.
